As Art Director for Rocky & Bullwinkle, I did endless character design

variations exploring how to create a pseudo-3D Bullwinkle

in a realistic environment that STILL could have the traditional

black lines surrounding the character shapes and

did not depart too much from the simplicity of the original 2D cartoon.
